Your privacy is important to us. Through this page, we inform you on the information that Ensur can collect from you, for communication about the products and services offered by Ensur but also the way we process and use this information once collected. Ensur is committed to respect your privacy. To fulfill this commitment, we comply with a Privacy Policy in which we explain how we collect and use your personal information.

Ensur guarantees that we collect, process, store and use personal data in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations and codes of conduct (ie the “Privacy Act 1992” and “GDPR” legislation).

1. Why?

Ensur collects some of your personal data in order to allow you to continue to benefit from the benefits offered by Ensur. In other words, this personal data will be used for communication and direct marketing purposes. Ensur also aspires to keep you informed about new products, promotions, benefits, newsletters, etc.

However, Ensur can and will only do so if we have your active permission. You can give your permission separately for different communication channels (email, publication, …) and always adjust your preferences.

You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. In this case, we will no longer process your personal data for direct marketing from the moment you withdraw your consent. However, the withdrawal of your consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing on the basis of the authorization prior to its withdrawal. Ensur will not store personal data for longer than necessary to achieve the agreed objectives.

Ensur will not disclose personal data to third parties (except subsidiaries and / or companies related to the cloud provider, UnderCover vb or to the IT provider) unless we are required based on the law, regulation, court order or a judgment of a governmental authority.

We also use personal data for the fulfilment of our legitimate interests:

  • to inform you about our other events and activities that may be of interest to you.
  • To use the photos and videos on which you are pictured as mood images for the promotion of the event and its future editions (including in social media);
  • For analysis and market research to improve and adapt our products and services;

We have a legitimate interest in keeping in touch with the participants in our events and to promote and to improve our events. For photos videos and other audiovisual materials that are not mood images and that clearly aim at using and promotion your image as a central figure, your consent will be requested if used for promotional purposes.

You have the right to request the removal of these photos up to 6 weeks after the event. You can do so by sending an e-mail to info@ensur.be with your surname, name and the name of the event in which you participated as well as the indication of the photo or video in question. Proof of your identity may be requested.

2. What personal information do we collect?

In concrete terms, we are interested in the following personal data that we will keep:

  • name
  • first name
  • E-mail adress
  • Mail address
  • Telephone number
  • Photo, video and other audio-visual material

The provision of such personal data is not a legal or contractual obligation, nor a necessary condition for entering into an agreement. You do not have to provide your personal data.

The other partners with which Ensur cooperates can also access your personal data. We make sure to only collaborate with partners who respect the guarantees of the general regulation on data protection.

3. This Website uses cookies to improve the user experience and ensure that it is functioning effectively

In order to provide you with a more personalized and responsive service we need to remember and store information about how you use this website. This is done using small text files called cookies. For example, you have the right to access, rectify, erase personal data or limit the processing concerned, as well as the right to oppose the treatment and the right to portability of the data.

If you do not want to receive newsletters or information about our products or services, you may at any time object to the processing of your personal data for these purposes, without reason (unsubscription).
